The SAT Exam

About the SAT

The SAT is a standardised test, which measures your general academic ability against other students to determine your aptitude ranking and which university you're likely to gain admittance into. For non-American students, it is likely that previous tests you've sat have been more content based on what you were taught in classroom lessons.

Test Dates

The SAT is offered 4 times a year to international students around the globe. (Keep in mind that your test dates will vary from the North American dates). See the next coming test date and deadlines by which you'll need to be registered by to sit the next exam.

SAT test dates and deadlines

One of the most common questions for students to decide on is they will sit the SAT or ACT, another standardized university admissions test available. As both tests are very similar, we'd suggest you have a look at our SAT vs ACT pages to see the structures compared per test. There is also the Combo test SAT vs ACT which does exactly what it says on the tin, combines both tests and lets you know which test questions you got most right on to help you decide which test is right for you! A fool-proof method we'd highly suggest is taking the practice SAT and practice ACT tests, which are full-length and timed, so you can be sure the test you choose is the one you're better suited for.
