UKCAT Verbal Reasoning

Questions: 44
Timing: 21 Minutes + 1 minute to read instructions
Scoring: 300-900

The section is divided into 11 passages, with four questions per passage for a total of 44 questions. Based on the information in the passage, you need to assess whether the statement in each question is true, false or can’t tell.

The Verbal Reasoning section is designed to test your ability to read and think carefully about information presented in passages and to make reasoned conclusions.

The timing on this section is tight and test takers find it challenging to read all the passages and evaluate all the statements in the time allowed. This means it’s important to practice for pacing and use a strategic approach to each question!
