Terms and Conditions
Kaplan is committed to your success on the GMAT, GRE, SAT, ACT, and LSAT. We stand behind our programs and your results with the Kaplan Higher Score Guarantee.
If you complete the basic study requirements for your course and take the exam within 30 days of your course expiration date, your score will improve. If you meet the eligibility requirements outlined below, our commitment applies as follows:
1. If you complete our program and decide that you are not ready to take the test, you can study with us again for free for another 90 days. You will be able to repeat the course and will have full access to the online materials associated with your course.
2. If you complete our program and improve your overall test score any number of points but are not satisfied with your score for any reason and wish to retake the test, you can study with us again for free for another 90 days. You will be able to repeat the course and will have full access to the online materials associated with your course.
3. If you complete our program and your overall score on test day does not improve over your baseline, you can choose to study with us again for another 90 days or receive a full refund of your tuition. If you choose to continue studying, you will be able to repeat the course and have full access to the online materials associated with your course.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, you must be a first-time Kaplan student for the particular exam for which you are preparing and you must establish a baseline score BEFORE you undertake the Kaplan program. If you have previously taken the test for which you are currently preparing, and have a current, official score, your most recent official score is your established baseline. If you have never taken the test before, a Higher Score Guarantee-compliant Kaplan diagnostic taken before any training* will serve as your baseline. If you are unable to take your Higher Score Guarantee-compliant diagnostic before you begin training* and you don't have a valid official score, you are ineligible for the Higher Score Guarantee. In addition to establishing a baseline, you must attend (or make-up in person) all lessons, take all required practice tests and complete the required homework for your course.
This offer is open to GMAT, GRE, SAT, ACT, and LSAT students who purchased a course through the London Kaplan Center. To repeat the course, international students studying in the United Kingdom must establish eligibility with immigration regulations in addition to meeting the eligibility requirements above.
GROUP COURSES:
GMAT: Comprehensive GMAT course options are eligible for Higher Score Guarantee. This includes: GMAT Classroom Courses, GMAT Advanced Courses, GMAT Anywhere Courses, and GMAT On Demand Courses. You MUST complete your GMAT Diagnostic CAT in the Online Center BEFORE SESSION 2 of your course in order to be eligible for Higher Score Guarantee. Non-comprehensive GMAT course options such as the GMAT Online Course, or GMAT Quiz Bank are not eligible for Higher Score Guarantee.
GRE: Only GRE London Classroom Courses, GRE Anywhere Courses, and GRE On Demand Courses are eligible for Higher Score Guarantee. Students MUST take their GRE Diagnostic Test in the Online Center BEFORE SESSION 2 of their course in order to be eligible.
SAT: Only SAT Classroom Courses are eligible for Higher Score Guarantee.
LSAT: Only LSAT Classroom Courses are eligible for Higher Score Guarantee.
TUTORING:
GMAT: Higher Score Guarantee applies to Private Tutoring students who have purchased 15-hour, 25-hour, or 35-hour packages: students who choose to exercise the repeat option are eligible to repeat the Classroom Course or to purchase further tutoring hours at a discounted rate of £75 per hour.
GRE: Higher Score Guarantee applies to Private Tutoring students who have purchased 15-hour or 25-hour packages: students who choose to exercise the repeat option are eligible to repeat the Classroom Course or to purchase further tutoring hours at a discounted rate of £75 per hour.
SAT: Higher Score Guarantee applies to Private Tutoring students who have purchased 20-hour package or more: students who choose to exercise the repeat option are eligible to repeat the Classroom Course or to purchase further tutoring hours at a discounted rate of £75 per hour.
ACT: Higher Score Guarantee is applicable to Private Tutoring students that have purchased 20-hour package or more: students who choose to exercise the repeat option can purchase further tutoring hours at a discounted rate of £75 per hour.
LSAT: Higher Score Guarantee applies to Private Tutoring students who have purchased 15-hour or 25-hour packages: students who choose to exercise the repeat option are eligible to repeat the Classroom Course or to purchase further tutoring hours at a discounted rate of £75 per hour.
In order to claim a refund you must return all of your course material and your official score report to the London Kaplan Center located at 3-5 Charing Cross Road, London WC2H 0HA, UK.
Claims for refund or repeat must be made within 90 days of your course expiration date. Students who are eligible to continue studying are allowed to do so only once. In order to claim a refund you must take your exam within 30 days of your course expiration date and complete all required assignments before taking your test. All claims for refund must be accompanied by an official post-course score report. All course materials and any Kaplan student ID card must be returned upon Higher Score Guarantee refund requests. If you accept our free repeat, you are no longer eligible for a refund. Students who claim the free repeat option will be granted a 90 day extension of their current online syllabus, and may have their practice exams reset upon request. Students enrolled in a free repeat are NOT eligible to retake the Official Test Day Experience.
The London Center reserves final discretion in determining whether a student does or does not qualify for the Higher Score Guarantee. Once a determination has been made regarding a student’s eligibility for either the free repeat or money back portion of the Higher Score Guarantee it cannot be appealed. Kaplan reserves the right to limit the number of repeat enrollments per course module.
