Course Structure

The 12 SAT Sessions include:
  • Classroom lessons: The 8 targeted lessons focus on math and writing content review, question practice, and Kaplan strategies for each question type of the SAT. You will receive dynamic instruction guiding you through the concepts and time-saving techniques you must know to succeed on the SAT.
  • In-class practice tests: The 4 full-length SAT exams taken in class will increase your familiarity with SAT-style test questions and will build your stamina and confidence for success on test day. Personalized computer-assisted feedback is provided after each practice exam.

Private Tutoring

Private tutoring is a flexible option–we tailor the lessons to your needs based upon your specifications and the results of your diagnostic test. Tutoring packages begin at 10 hours, and include course materials and access to many of the center's resources.

Test Overview

The SAT and the SAT subject Tests are accepted by nearly every US university. Taken usually by those in their junior or senior year of high school, the SAT measures critical thinking and assesses how well you analyze and solve problems.

Test Format

3 hours and 45 minutes

  • Critical Reading: two 25 minute sections, one 20 minute section
  • Math: two 25 minute sections, and one 20 minute section
  • Writing: one 25 minute section, one 10 minute section, one 25 minute essay section
  • Experimental: one 25 minute section
