Kaplan's elite teachers go through an intensive selection and training process to become tutors. When you enroll, you will be matched with one of our available tutors based on your preferences, goals, and needs. Each tutor has an expert knowledge of the test.
A program designed for you
Your tutor will customize your ISEE Private Tutoring based on your diagnostic performance, preferred learning style, and score goals. You and your tutor build a curriculum around your learning style and goals. Together, you will go through the program step-by-step and work until you master every concept and every question type.
Targeted instruction
The Kaplan program is designed to help you maximize your study time. We don't expect you to wade through thousands of pages of material. Your tutor will point out the "must-know" concepts for you, help you master them, and then show you how to recognize and solve them on the ISEE itself. Your training is centered around getting the most points in the least amount of time.

Private tutoring sessions are tailored to meet students’ needs and focus on areas where they need the most help. As each student has different requirements, we offer a range of options:

ISEE Course Book
3 Practice Tests for each level
The ISEE is a standardized test administered over a three-hour period. It consists of a series of multiple-choice questions divided into four scored sections and one unscored essay section. All three levels contain the following sections:
- Verbal Reasoning
- Quantitative Reasoning
- Reading Comprehension
- Mathematics Achievement
- Essay Section
