UKCAT Strategy Book

The Kaplan UKCAT Strategy Book provides an introduction to computer-based and multiple-choice aptitude tests, and details Kaplan strategies for each different UKCAT question type. It also includes time management techniques, and extra UKCAT practice questions.

Five Full-length Computer-based UKCAT Practice Tests

Timing on the UKCAT is extremely important. To increase your familiarity with UKCAT-style test questions and build your stamina, we offer five full-length UKCAT practice tests in a computerised interface that looks and feels just like the real UKCAT. Students should take the five computer-based practice tests after completing the Kaplan course; sitting these tests will help you practice pacing and become familiar with the UKCAT test format, helping you to answer the maximum number of questions correctly and give you more confidence on Test Day.

Ongoing Academic Support

Course enrolment includes email access to UKCAT teachers until your test date. Teachers will be available to answer academic questions that arise during your self-study following your UKCAT course.

Kaplan UKCAT Teachers

All Kaplan teachers must score highly in the test that they would like to teach in order to be considered by Kaplan. Once they have gone through the selection process, potential teachers must take part in a Teacher Development Module to learn the Kaplan methods and strategies, and are continuously assessed by our Lead Teachers and Academic Staff to ensure that they meet the quality expected from Kaplan teachers.

End of course surveys are sent out to students that have attended a Kaplan course. Several of the questions on these surveys are about the teacher of the course so teacher quality is constantly monitored.
