GRE private tutoring provides a flexible and individualized option for GRE preparation. Individual sessions are tailored to your needs based upon your specifications and the results of a diagnostic GRE test, which you will take before starting your tuition. Private tutoring is ideal for students with a busy schedule or those that prefer a one-to-one approach. An expert Kaplan GRE instructor will tailor one-to-one lessons around your needs and goals to help you achieve your target score.

Can’t decide between a group course or tutoring?

If you have never taken the GRE before, we would recommend you take a GRE Classroom Course or GRE Live Online Course, as these cover the entire syllabus in a structured way. You can also add some Private Tutoring to your classroom course if there are things you would like some more help with.

If your schedule does not allow you to attend classroom sessions, if you prefer to learn on a one-to-one basis, or if you only need to work on certain aspects of the GRE test, then Private Tutoring may be best for you.

GRE Private Tutoring in London or Online

Kaplan offers GRE Private Tutoring in London and Online. One-to-one tutoring is available in London at the Kaplan London Center. It is also possible for a GRE instructor to come to your home; however, a surcharge may apply based on your address and its distance from central London.

GRE Online Private Tutoring is ideal for students outside of London. With online tutoring, your GRE lessons will take place via Skype™ interactive video calls. Online tutoring is available from anywhere with an internet connection, and combines a comprehensive combination of video calling, screensharing, online whiteboard technology and more.

GRE tutoring is available in either 25, 15, 10, or 5 hour packages. After your initial package purchase, you can buy additional tutoring hours individually.

 Larger packages of 25 or 15 hours are recommended for the most comprehensive coverage as they are Higher Score Guarantee eligible.

London private tutoring packages include access to a GRE Classroom Course and Online private tutoring packages include access to a GRE Live Online Course. If you enroll online you will be prompted to choose a classroom course schedule. It is obligatory to choose a course in order to purchase your private tutoring package; however, it is not obligatory to join the course sessions.
