This new online course uses the content and strategies from our classroom course to help students that study better on their own. Or if you can't make it to one of our Classroom or Live Online courses. This is also an ideal prep option for those that need a flexible preparation option to fit around a busy schedule.
BMAT Self Study Course includes:
10 hours of video lessons
These lessons will include;
- Each section split out into the different question types and topics covered
- Thorough guidance through the Kaplan methods and strategies
- Review of practice questions with detailed explanations
BMAT Strategy Book
This comprehensive course book will guide you though the key strategies for each section, and will follow along with the video lessons, so you can annotate as you go through your work.
6 Full-length Practice Tests
These will assess how much you have absorbed from the lessons and also test your exam endurance. The results of these tests will help guide the rest of your study, through identifying areas for improvement.
Feedback on draft Essays
Our teachers will mark up to 6 draft essays, so you will be sure that you have mastered each technique before the exam.
4 Strategy Sessions
These are included as part of the video library, where we will take you through out standardised testing strategies as well as top tips for test day.
Personalised score reports
After you submit each practice test into your online study centre, you will generate a detailed report that will breakdown your results by test section and even question type. These reports will help to make your study more efficient by guiding you to work on the areas requiring the most improvement.
All practice questions come complete with detailed explanations outlining not only the correct answer choices, but also the reasoning behind the incorrect options. This will help you build a better understanding of BMAT questions in general and help to avoid common mistakes.
24/7 access until test day
You can access all your course videos and materials whenever you choose. Access will not expire until this year's BMAT exam date.
How may hours of lessons are included?
Across the recorded lessons there are 10 hours of video content to work through.
What's the difference between the Self Study and the classroom and live online options?
The Self Study course covers the same material as the live course options. However, it consists of online video content instead of live teacher instruction. The Self Study course offers greater flexibility, as you can access it 24/7. However, due to the nature of independent guides and courses, you would not interact with Kaplan teachers.
All our BMAT courses come with our complete library of practice tests and questions; including score reports and detailed explanations.
When can I start my access from?
You can choose which date you would like start your course, so the earlier you sign up the longer you will have access to your study materials. E.g. If you opt for the November exam option you will be able to start access from any date beyond the 2nd August, 2017. If you would like to prepare for the February exam your access can begin from November 2017, and will expire after the test in February 2018. Confirmed dates for the 2018 February exam are yet to be announced.

What is the BMAT Navarra?
The BMAT exam is a 2 hour paper-based test, made up of 3 sections:
|Aptitude and Skills||35 Questions
Questions cover Problem Solving, Understanding Arguments and Data Analysis and Inference.
This section covers the three sciences plus maths (ESO level).
|Writing||1 question (from a choice of 4)
Students have 1 page of A4 paper to answer the essay promptly.
Do I need to take the BMAT Navarra?
If you are a student applying to study medicine at the University of Navarra in Spain, Universities in the Netherlands or the University of Malaya in Malaysia, then you will need to take the BMAT exam.
When do I need to take the exam?
When do I register for and sit the BMAT test in February (dates of the 2018 test are yet to be announced by the test makers)?

How much does it cost to take the BMAT test in February?
Students taking the BMAT from within the EU are required to pay the following fees: €126/ £112/ $210
