As mentioned in a previous news article from us the GRE is set to change as of the 1st August 2011. The GRE revised General Test is set to replace the current GRE General Test and as a special promotion ETS are offering a 50% discount for those who take the new test between August 1 and September 30 2011.
You can read a full list of the change the GRE test is set to have on the ETS website or on our previous news article. Below is a general outline of the key changes and how it may effect you:
- The test is due to change over on the 1st August 2011
- A new test-taker friendly design - allowing you to edit, skip and change questions.
- There will be new types of questions, many featuring real-life scenarios that reflect the kind of thinking you'll do in today's demanding graduate and business school programs
- If you take the GRE revised General Test during the special discount period (August-September 2010), your scores will be sent by mid November. If you need your scores before then please take the test before August 2011.
