Newly qualified City lawyers break £100,000 salary barrier 18 February 2010 | There is good news for those who are looking to become Lawyers, for the first time in history, newly qualified lawyers in their 20’s have broken the £100,000 salary barrier. The US Company Bingham McCutchen are now offering their newly qualified lawyers exactly £100,000, whilst the average pay for workers aged 22 to 29 is just under £21,000.

The Times Higher Education Student Poll shows which UK Universities offer the Best overall Experience 26 February 2010 | The Times Higher Education’s Student Experience Poll surveyed over 11,000 full-time undergraduates in 2009 to allow students to rank their overall university experience. Attributes such as the quality of teaching, social life, and university facilities were all ranked by students. As a result, the 2009 Times Higher Education Award for 'Most Improved Student Experience' was presented to Queen Mary, University of London whilst Loughborough University remains top of the poll for the 4th year running.
