The information below applies to the 2008 BMAT exam, correct as of March 2008.

Getting into a top university medical or veterinary programme depends upon doing one's best at every step of the application process: Personal Statements, A-levels, Interviews, and for several universities, the BMAT.

This aptitude exam has been designed to distinguish which applicants have the strongest critical thinking skills. To do well on the BMAT, knowing the academic content is necessary but not sufficient. More importantly students must master the critical thinking and essay writing skills assessed and become familiar with the test's format and style. Therefore, even top students will benefit from knowing what to expect, understanding specific question types, and knowing how to make the most of their time.

Kaplan's students receive both the test strategies and the practice necessary to take the BMAT with confidence. We'll guide you step-by-step towards achieving your best score. You'll build confidence and learn valuable test-taking skills through targeted lessons, practice under test-like conditions, and dynamic instruction in score-raising strategies.
