Service. One of our consultants will review your graduate school
applications and work with you to ensure you make the best
possible impression on admissions committees.
The GRE Premium Package consists of:
With the GRE Premium Package you save �200 on the cost of
purchasing these items individually! To take advantage of this
saving you must register for the Premium Package when you sign up
for your GRE course.
Admissions Consulting Only
You can sign up for admissions consulting only, and this will be
charged at the rate of £700 for a minimum of 5 hours*. Once your
initial 5 hours have been used, you may purchase extra hours
individually at a rate of £120 per hour.
The Graduate School
Admissions Essays
The focus of Kaplan's consulting service is the admissions
essays—the opportunity for you to stand out from other
applicants, and the most challenging part of applying to
selective graduate school programs for any candidate. You will
benefit from a critique of your essays by a Kaplan consultant who
is familiar with what US graduate schools are looking for. The
consultant will assess your essays with an objective and
experienced eye, and work with you to suggest ways you can
improve them to make the best impression. We recommend that we
work with you on one school's essay(s) first, allowing you to
replicate what you have learnt with other schools. During 5 hours
of admissions consulting we could typically review two drafts of
a school's essay(s)*, plus review other aspects of your
application.
Other Aspects of Your Applications
As needed or requested, we will allocate some of your time
with the consultant to discuss other aspects of your
applications, including recommendations/references, choice of
schools, transcripts, and application forms.
Once you have registered for consulting, our Academic
Coordinator will contact you to discuss your needs. Ideally,
please allow two weeks' notice for booking consulting hours as
consultants may not be available at short notice, particularly
during busy periods. For further information please contact us; we're open 10
AM - 10 PM, Monday to Thursday, and from 10 AM - 6 PM, Friday to
Sunday.
